Anyone else having problems with the Comcast cable TV or Internet signal tonight? ( Does anybody else still use Comcast?)
We are getting a roughly 30+ second signal loss every 10-15 minutes. I called and they are running tests, but if anyone else is having this it would help to know about it. I am guessing the weather might be part of it, but I don’t know if it is the cable in our yard or something further upstream.
Update – This is still happening today (12/24) and there are at least two houses affected so call Comcast if you are having this problem.
Same problem here. Comcast is sending a technician on Sunday between 1 and 3. If more people call maybe they will send someone sooner. The Comcast rep says he is seeing intermittent signal degradation. This is affecting TV and Internet.
We had Comcast bundled service from 2008 until FiOS came to the neighborhood. The Comcast service often went on the fritz during periods of heavy or extended rainfall. The technician would always say it was a short at the junction box. Since we moved to FiOS we’ve had zero problems related to weather.
Everything appears to be working for the last hour. Cross fingers. No Internet or TV drops.
Same here, but there is a lot more rain on the way. I think I will wait before I cancel the appointment.
Our service has been poor at best. Hopefully there is a resolution.
We had similar and constant disruptions with Comcast for years. We switched to Fios last year and have had no issues at all and are paying less for an equivalent service bundle.
